Remote Learning Resources

Learning at home during a time of crisis: COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

This resource is developed by the Australian Coalition for Inclusive Education (ACIE) and is to assist young people living with disability or families with children living with disability to organise and plan for learning at home.

FutureLearn Schools

FutureLearn Schools, a new initiative in partnership with the Tes Institute and Pearson UK. Students aged 13-18 will be given access to over one hundred short online courses from world-renowned universities including The Open University, Coventry University, King’s College London and the University of Sheffield. For educators, you’ll be able to use existing course material or create a course of your own, using our social learning platform which will allow your students to learn in a virtual classroom environment. For students, you’ll be able to learn from expert educators as well as in a peer-to-peer setting with other learners.

Our Learning SA

New website and resources developed by the South Australian Department for Education to support students, families and teachers for continued learning between school and home. Aligned to the Early Years Framework and the Australian Curriculum, these resources support learning in the classroom and beyond.

 

Online Community Groups

Imagine More Peer Support Group

The Inclusive Education Peer Support group meets virtually on Tuesday afternoons from 3PM to 4PM to discuss inclusive education and gain a better understanding of the benefits of inclusive education.

Women with Disabilities Australia Community

A Facebook group for women, girls (aged 15 years and above), feminine identifying and non-binary people living with disability to share ideas, questions and experiences about living in Australia with a disability.
